LEGAL & EQUITABLE was initially established by Brian Reilly and Tom Darcy in June 2014 to facilitate the holding of a Legal & Equitable Conference in Dublin which was addressed by an International team of Legal, Financial and Banking Experts, and attended by a select group of clients and guest observers. From this conference L&E was established as a partner agent for this international team of experts with a mandate to facilitate access for Irish clients.

The team is now available to clients who have been adversely affected by the banking crisis in their businesses, their homes and property and/or their pensions. The Legal & Equitable (and the international team) work solely on behalf of customers of financial institutions. We can arrange individual case assessments and introductions to a wider team of Barristers, Senior Counsels, Lawyers, Financial Consultants and Forensic Accounts, based across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

TOM DARCY has many years experience as a Lay Litigant challenging evictions in the Irish Courts. Tom was successful in his own case against AIB in the Supreme Court regaining possession of his properties.

More recently he has mounted a Constitutional Challenge against the State in relation to the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act 2013 which may help prevent threatened evictions in the coming months and years.

Aside from his involvement in Legal & Equitable he is also a founding member of the New Land League and was a key negotiator of agreements reached with a number of Irish auctioneers including Allsops and Ganly Walters.

BRIAN REILLY has been the founder of numerous businesses in a variety of sectors which brings with it a vast amount of experience both at boardroom level and with team building, marketing and commercial negotiations.

Brian is also renowned for his networking, marketing and communications skills and has devoted a lot of his time to offering advice to others including utilising his mediation skills to help resolve business-related issues.

Brian is currently working as an Independent Commercial Broker, he also organised the ’Investment into Ireland’ Seminar which took place in the Shelbourne Hotel in 2013 and last year’s ’Legal & Equitable Conference’ at DCU’s Innovation Campus.
